With one double bedroom, a bathroom, and a comfortable lounge with a fold-out futon, it’s the ideal escape for rest and relaxation. Set in rural Preston near the coast and River Wyre, it’s perfect for walkers, with Blackpool Illuminations just a short drive away. Lancaster and the Lake District are also within easy reach. Due to the rural setting, driving is essential; a parking space is located next to the bungalow. Hive-controlled central heating ensures the bungalow warms up quickly and stays comfortable all year round. The double bedroom is bright and welcoming, with fresh bedding provided. The bathroom includes a full-size shower, towels, and complimentary toiletries. The kitchen is well equipped for your stay, with an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer, and all the essentials for preparing meals. To the rear, there is a small enclosed garden with a table and chairs — a lovely spot to sit out and take in the peaceful surroundings and countryside views. A BBQ is also provided during the summer months. Whether you’re heading to the coast, walking local countryside trails, or exploring the Lake District or Lancaster, this makes a quiet and comfortable base. Fast WiFi is available throughout, and a private parking space is located directly beside the bungalow. Guest access Guests have access to all facilities and the private parking space (please note, there is only one parking space available). The kitchen includes cooking hobs, a convection oven, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, and a Nespresso coffee machine. Basic crockery, cutlery, mugs, glasses, and plates are provided. A small dining table with two chairs has recently been added, along with two fold-out tables for extra flexibility. A washing machine is also available. The newly fitted bathroom features a full shower, sink basin, and toilet, with clean towels provided. For entertainment, there is a 40-inch TV with Freeview channels, a home cinema DVD player with surround sound speakers — perfect for watching DVDs — and a Nintendo Wii console with a selection of games. WiFi is excellent throughout, so whether you’re working remotely or streaming TV and films via your own media stick, you’ll have no issues staying connected. In warmer months, a table and chairs are available in the enclosed rear garden, along with a BBQ — ideal for relaxing outdoors and enjoying the peaceful rural views Other things to note We kindly ask that you respect the property, the peaceful surroundings, and be considerate of our neighbours during your stay. It’s a quiet rural area, so we hope guests will enjoy the tranquillity and help us keep it that way. Due to the rural location, a car is essential as public transport is limited. The bungalow is self-contained and private, but located just opposite our home — so we’re usually close by if needed. We provide a few basic essentials (such as tea, coffee, and toiletries) to get you started, but recommend bringing anything specific you may need. The garden is enclosed but modest in size — ideal for enjoying a morning coffee, a summer BBQ, or simply taking in the countryside views. Please note that smoking is not permitted inside the property.
