Roseview Loft: Studio & Garden

The Loft is a modern 'mini-house' in tranquil green space, on the cycle track between Forres and Findhorn. All the local amenities of this fabulous area are handy, without needing a car: Forres (5 mins cycle, 15 mins walk), beach and cafes and watersports at Findhorn (20mins on the cycle track) - more beaches at Hopeman, etc. There are 2 golf courses within 15 minutes cycle or 5 min drive. You’ll have the private comfort of your own building in the perfect location. The space The Loft is bright and airy, in its own building, with private parking and entrance. It's a large studio with spaces for cooking and eating, relaxing and sleeping, and has its own wet-clothing porch, entrance hallway, full bathroom (WC, basin, shower over bath) and lots of natural living space around: own staircase with access to the garden, plenty of garden space for outdoor living, with firepit for BBQ, and storage for cycles and adventure equipment. The Loft's mini-house concept has been developed and refined over many years by the owners, including living in it fulltime for extended months. Everything that's 'flexible' and 'adaptable' is also quick and easy, as it must be! Guest access Train stn 5 mins by taxi; bus 10 mins walk; airport 35 mins drive; outside runs the cycle track to Forres and Findhorn. Guests have the privacy of the dwelling to themselves, full access to the private garden for outdoor recreation, use of covered storage spaces for cycles and the like. Other things to note Our aim is to ensure you have enough privacy, living room, amenities and opportunity to live in the green spaces and surrounding beaches, forests and villages. There are 2 runabout cycles in the shed: you can hop on the bikes, and be down on the Findhorn bay inside 20 minutes, or in the heart of the lovely little town in 10 minutes. There's a large awning and shelter-seat at the firepit, with baskets of logs for the firepit and a small barbecue. There's a television, DVD player with DVDs, DAB radio (with CD, Bluetooth and Aux, and stunning BOSE speakers) and WiFi. The kitchen has full-size oven and hob, and has all the welcoming essentials needed to make yourself at home. If you're arriving late, there's enough basics to sort drinks and snacks, and all cleaning materials are plentiful. The owners welcome all visitors: together, a little bit of give and take go a long way, and we'll do our best to be good hosts and provide for you as you need. This is peaceful, semi-rural countryside and accommodation amidst farmland and woods on the edge of a small town - it's not for someone who prefers swan-origami towels, pompous formality and hotel room service! All we ask of our guests is to leave the Loft as you find it - clean and tidy, replace what you use whenever you can (or leave a note for the housekeeper).
