Love for the land and the kitchen are at this point in an ambitious project. The restoration begins just before the Emilia earthquake, which in this area also made the spirits shake. The intervention, which originally provided for a redevelopment of the most invasive building, immediately brings to light frescoes on the walls and decorations on the wooden floors, imposing a project line that was much more attentive to the enhancement of the existing one. The restoration has been directed to the conservation of the building envelope both from a formal, material and typological point of view, and from the structural point of view. The layout has been fully preserved. The vertical body in the inner cortice where in the 1960s the only bathroom in the complex was built, it was used to bring the amenities to all floors and raised to create the tower: the bathroom with panoramic views of the countryside. Plasterboard panels with iron profiles have been designed that accommodate the heating and air conditioning systems in the suites. These are non-permanent facilities that can be removed if needed. The bathrooms have smoothed concrete floors and bespoke iron sinks that play on shades of gray and anthracite, giving notes of rustic and sophisticated elegance.
