The Rookery at Holly Cottage, West Cornwall Coast

The Rookery is a cosy self-contained space, perfect for couples. Located on the South-West Cornwall coast, it’s within 2 miles of beautiful beaches at Rinsey & Praa & minutes from Perranuthno, Kennegy, Prussia & Porthleven; known for its surfing, restaurants, pubs, harbour & as a fabulous winter storm-watching location. Located at the foot of Tregonning Hill, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, stunning coastal walks are on the doorstep. 1 small, well behaved, dog is very welcome! The space The Rookery is a newly converted and self-contained beautiful, light, space attached to our home; a 200 year old Cornish Mining Cottage, perfect for couples. The Rookery is accessed via a private entrance and separated from the main house by a locked door. The Rookery consists of one living area with kitchen facilities and a bedroom with an en-suite shower room, toilet and sink. Myself and my wife, Sharon, live in the main cottage along with occasional visits from our son and daughter when they return home from university. We have two Miniature Schnauzers (Alfie & Hazel ) and a lovely old cat, called Charlie. The main living area has a kitchenette with room to create simple meals and essentials provided include; Kettle, Cafetiere, Toaster. Fridge Freezer, a small table-top oven (or microwave if your prefer), a twin portable electric stove, pots and pans & tableware. French doors look out to our back garden (which is private). There's a table for two, a large comfy sofa, a hanging area for clothes, an iron & Ironing board and a radio and blue tooth speaker. There's no washing machine but we are happy for you to use ours in an emergency. The Bedroom has a comfy double bed with luxury bedding and a vaulted ceiling with 2 small Velux windows to see the stars and sky from! There are plenty of electric sockets, 2 of them with integral USB chargers. We supply Towels and a Hairdryer. The Bathroom has a toilet, basin and lovely big, walk-in shower with a skylight above.
