Cottage 1 - Sheephouse Country Courtyard

The cottage is something special located in a peaceful setting just a short walk from the banks of the River Boyne, the Battle of the Boyne site and the Boyne Greenway walk/cycleway. The cottage has a unique blend of homeliness, space and comfort, complemented by modern facilities and a rural setting. The cottage has a modern kitchen come living room. Sheephouse Country Courtyard is an ideal spot for exploring all the wonders that Irelands Ancient East has to offer. The space This cottage was converted by the owners Ann & Des in 2015 into a comfortable and inviting open plan living area & kitchen with a separate double bedroom and private bathroom. The kitchen / dining area is equipped with cooking hob, 3 in 1 Microwave / grill / convection oven, fridge with ice box and is sufficiently well-equipped to please the keen cook. There is a wet room-style shower room and wc. The living area is snug and cosy with a comfortable pull out couch, (Available at an extra cost). A bedroom with comfy double bed, clothes storage. The accommodation is suitable for up to two adults. We the additional option of the pull out couch at an additional cost. Children of all ages are welcome. We have been welcoming guests since 2015. Guest access The cottage is a stone building located in the grounds of Sheephouse Country Courtyard. It has it's own parking space and communal outdoor seating area. The cottage has it's own separate entrance from the courtyard with windows looking directly out to a gravelled courtyard, which guests are welcome to enjoy. Other things to note Minimum Stay for the Cottages is 3 nights. Nearby: Drogheda - 4km Newgrange - 6.5km (10 mins) Dublin Airport - 44km (35 mins)
