Lovely Poynton holiday home-fab canal view❤

Set in a peaceful spot beside the canal & the edge of the Peak District,a few minutes drive from Poynton village with its cafe culture. Well located for Manchester airport too! The property sleeps up to 6 people. There are two bedrooms each with a double bed and a corner sofa bed in the lounge that sleeps 2. There is also a bright living area & private garden with patio. The space The property has been lovingly developed as a holiday home, and we hope we've thought of everything! In dormer bungalow style, it sleeps 4 people in two double beds in 2 separate bedrooms. Two further guests can be accommodated in the lounge where the comfortable corner sofa contains a fold out sofa bed. Fresh bed linen and towels provided BEDROOM 1 A cosy ground floor room with double bed, bed side drawers. small wardrobe and an ensuite shower room with large shower. BEDROOM 2 (Loft room) The second bedroom is upstairs and is loft style room with the most amazing, 'picture postcard' view over the canal and across the hills to the Peak district. There is another ensuite shower room in this bedroom. Please note, because this room is in the roof, the head space is restricted in the room (though it's fine for me at 5'10 / 175cm). There is no door to this room, however it is the only room on the first floor which affords it some privacy. This room contains: Double bed Bedside table with light Chest of drawers Hanging rail for clothes Chair Fabulous view!! LIVING AREA With 3 windows and huge patio doors, this room is bright and airy. The open plan living space has huge bifold doors that pretty much open up the whole back of the property - fabulous on a summer's day! The enclosed patio area attracts the morning sun, a charming spot to enjoy your breakfast whilst the sun rises. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for your stay : oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, cafetiere, steamer, crockery and cutlery, pots and pans. There is also a washing machine and a small dishwasher As well as the small, walled garden to the rear of the property, there is a second, open, patio area to the side of the house, where you can enjoy the views. The main living area contains: A large corner sofa which holds a metal action sofa bed which holds up to 2 people. (Please note, this should not be used by anyone over 13 stone / 82kg 2 chairs & a pouffe Widescreen TV (Please note the internal arial is adequate but not top quality for terrestrial TV. There is also a firestick fitted, to allow you to watch free to air streaming services if you wish. You will need to use your own account for subscription streams such as Netflix etc. Set of drawers Coat stand Glass dining table - seats 4. Please note, although we're happy for all ages to enjoy our property, we have open stairs from the loft bedroom to the front door (although these are separate from the lounge) and we don't have any child safety gates, cot or special child-proofing in place. Young children will need to be supervised. Guest access Guests have the privacy of the entire home, with patio area and direct access to Poynton canal. We can provide parking for 2 cars, on a private drive and road in front of the house. If you have more than 2 cars there is also a public car park nearby. PLEASE NOTE, although this property sleeps up to 6, we aim to keep our prices competitive for smaller numbers of guests too. If you book for one or two people, you will still have the full property, however the cost will include one double bed and towels for the appropriate number of people. Should you wish to use the second bedroom, there will be a £10 charge to cover laundry. Other things to note The property is self catering however there are a wide number of very good cafes, pubs and restaurants in Poynton nearby, serving from breakfast through to dinner. (Subject to any current restrictions of course). There will be tea, and coffee at the house so you can at least have a cuppa when you arrive. We have a good supply of supermarkets in Poynton, with Waitrose in the centre, and Aldi and Morrisons nearby, all open into the evening. There is also a late opening Co-op, open until 10pm. We're also spoilt with a number of good restaurants. Check out times We understand you don't always want to rush off at the end of your holiday. If we don't have guests coming in the same day, we may be able to agree a later checkout time, please message us in advance for details. (Unfortunately this is unlikely in the summer months as we typically have back to back bookings)
