The village is only a 15 minute train ride away from Amsterdam Central Station. The green, wooden houses and the small canals that make up the neighborhood create the feeling of going back in time and leaving the busy hustle and bustle of the city behind. The Bed & Breakfast is located in one of these authentic Dutch houses. We welcome you to enjoy the sunset on our terrace, overlooking the characteristic houses, canals and nature. Staying in one of the three light and spacious rooms is the perfect way to visit the Zaanse Schans, Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar or the sea. THE ROOMS ARE WELL-EQUIPED AND SPACIOUS.... THE AREA Our B&B is perfectly located for seeing a lot of the Northern part of Holland: we have the Zaanse Schans just around the corner, where the typical Dutch windmills, hundreds of years old, are turning in the wind. You can take a walk through the fields where the cows are grazing or cycle through the beautiful neighborhood. And Amsterdam is only a 15 minute trainride away! The train will take you to Amsterdam Central Station in roughly 15 minutes, from where you can enjoy the museums, canals, bars, restaurants and everything that this great city has to offer. You can also take the train (30 min.) to Haarlem, a very old city with an impressive cathedral and nice shops. Or travel to the beach to walk through the dunes or take a dive, by train it doesn't take you more than 30 to 40 minutes! GETTING THERE AND AWAY We are located 10 minutes from the train stations Zaandijk-Zaanse Schans. From that station it's only 15 min by train to Amsterdam Centre. The train takes you to most of the interesting spots in the area. If you come by car there is plenty of parking space around the B&B. WHO ARE WE?
