Maximum IKEA rated weight permitted on a single bed is 99kgs ( 220lbs ). A single bed dimension is 200cm (79in) length by 90cm (35in) width. The beds can be placed side by side to create a Double Twin bed (180cm / 70in width) or remain separated as x2 Single Beds. Let Hostel hosts know of your preference when booking. We recommend a maximum of a Small Family of 5 members or a group of UpTo 4 Adult Guests to be permitted to share the beds and room provided all are under the weight conditions for the beds and are ok to share the beds and room as described. We recommend a maximum Small Family of 5 members (2 adults, 3 small children) or a group of 3 or 4 adults be permitted to share the beds and room provided they are under the weight conditions for the beds as arranged (99kgs/ 220lbs total per single bed) and are ok to share the beds together. You are welcome to book your small family group as a booking for x2 Adults. Please notify the Hostel of the correct number of guests in a Family group, when you make your booking, who will be travelling and we can provide the group the same fee as a booking for x2 Adults. The hosts will then be able to then send you a booking amendment for acceptance that includes the correct number of family guests and price total so that everyone is under the booking correctly. If you are a group of 3 or 4 adult guests who would like to share the beds and room there are and significant additional fees for the 3rd and 4th adult guest. Note: it would be significantly less expensive for the 3rd or 4th adult to book a separate bed in the Dormitory Rooms then be included under this single listing if space is available in our Shared Dormitory Rooms. We will not be able to accommodate you and any group if you are over the weight conditions for the beds. If you are taller then the length of the bed but under the weight limit you are welcome to book just please note that it may not be as comfortable and we can not extend the bed length and there is a wire frame head and foot board that does prevent stretching further in length with any comfort. Hello House Hostel is one of the newest hostels in the City of Las Palmas on Gran Canaria Island of Spain's sunny Canary Islands. Hello House is currently available through Airbnb Booking system and others. We are a family friendly hostel. No parties permitted. House rules apply. We are a hostel not a hotel which means guests are expected to keep clean and tidy there assigned spaces, common areas etc. Our home / hostel currently lists spaces in x3 Dormitories with x 2 Bunkbeds per dormitory (4 beds per room total in dormitories) and x3 Private Rooms. You will be booking our small Private Room under this listing. This Room has a sliding door to maximize space in the room for the large bed arrangement (beds together or apart) and for luggage space etc. Room is Spanish sized with 2 American sized single beds. Beds can be together or apart. Only the number of guests booked are allowed to share the room (to max allowed under this booking) and that you add to your booking and pay any additional fees for at the time of booking for any additional guests as per fee structures and allowance. For example: Book for X1 guest then only X1 guest allowed in the room. Any guests who use the room must have a booking for the time and have checked in. No visitors permitted nor any substitute guests or new friends made allowed to enter without first clearing with the hosts and proper payment check-in etc min 24 hrs advance notice. South Terrace, 1st and 2nd Floor Lounges, Hostel Kitchen and their bedrooms / bed spaces. The kitchen and roof terrace area are off limits during quiet times. Laundry Room access is limited to those who have arranged access with Hosts and have paid applicable fees for use. Hosts living area is off limits as is the North Roof Terrace, Garage Area (unless permission) North Stairwell and Hosts areas. During your stay Hosts like our guests love to adventure, study and live in our beautiful city of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. So not every host may be available at all or any time during your stay. We do not offer a reception service and guests are asked to tell us what time they expect to check in. Please do use the message area of Airbnb for any immediate concerns as this is monitored at least once a day when guests are staying. Other things to note :) Guests are asked to respectfully use water and electricity, clean & share common spaces, observe our house rules and of course have fun & use common sense during their stay. Please note that our home was first constructed in 1952. It was purchased it in 2019 with the plan to develop it into a wonderful hostel. We have done major reforms to the interior to bring it up to code and as well to allow for the piping for city water to flow at high pressure direct to our taps. Do take a look at our many photos to know our home. We are always in the process of upgrading our home to keep it comfortable, safe and welcoming. And yes we do plan to repaint the outside of the house in the near future. Thanks to having wonderful guests we are able to improve our home and facilities almost daily. We always welcome suggestions and ideas too. If we may be doing construction during your stay; barring any emergency repairs; we conduct any construction activities according to the neighborhoods siesta schedule. Monday through Saturday construction is between hours of 10am - 2pm and again from 5pm - 8pm . Sunday is a day of rest for our neighborhood so we as well observe no construction during Sundays. As well we try to paint during periods when guests are out of the house to keep fume exposures to a minimum. Wifi is free, with no password, and available throughout the house. The Wifi sometimes suffers, especially when it rains, as the islands infrastructure is just is not built for rain. Same for the power supply. Please bear with us if the Wifi / power cuts out, we will get it back on as soon as possible. We are lucky that heavy rains are rare. Instant Coffee and Hot Chocolate are provided free for guests to prepare and enjoy in our kitchen. We hope you will come to stay with us and thank you in advance for coming. The house is great with lots of spaces, the rooms and beds are super comfortable and outside your room the shared areas like our lounges and roof terrace with beautiful ocean, mountain & city views are there relax in too.
