A romantic country house, deep in the green Toscana hills, few kilometres from Lucca. A fresh organic breakfast tasted in a wide, quiet, private garden, while enjoying the scenery of the Pizzorne mountain woods. Feeling the warm typical Toscana “cotto” tiles inside, preparing a “fiorentina” steak in the barbecue outside and relaxing on the beach chairs after a solar shower and swimming in the wide pool. The space A recently restructured cosy two-floors typical Tuscan farmhouse called "mandolato". Both floors, which are paved with “cotto” (terracotta) tiles, have wide French doors overlooking the courtyard, the wide garden, the wood and the Pizzorne mountains. On the ground floor there's the spacious and bright old-style kitchen fully equipped with every modern comfort, an antique wooden table for your lovely meals. If you want instead to have your meals outside in the wide garden overlooking the wood and the mountains, you'll have a big table under the grapevine pergola and a professional barbecue. A lovely iron spiral staircase leads you to the first floor where you’ll find a pretty double room with a wide window from where you can see, lying on the bed, the green wood and the stars. Next to the bedroom there’s the bathroom with nice green mosaic tiles. A cute wooden mezzanine holds single beds for two (or potentially three) guests. A rich breakfast is included and offers cheese, yoghurt and eggs from farms nearby, milk, fresh fruit, homemade jams, homemade bread made by high quality local flours, Italian coffee, tea, … Guest access The parking area, the garden, the barbecue, the pinball, the tennis table and anything outdoor are available to you. We are also available for anything you may need including advice on places to visit, paths to find, restaurants to go, etc.... TOURIST TAX The local Tourist Tax (€2 per person/night) is not included in the price and must be paid in cash upon arrival.
