Old farmhouse overlooking the Glarus Alps

Our 250-year-old wooden house offers a lot of charm and casualness. The guest room is under the roof. There you will find Wi-Fi, a video library and a private bathroom with shower. The wooden floor is freshly sanded and oiled. Our gallery with an old armchair is equipped with tons of mountain books, photo books, crime novels and literary classics. You can always use the kitchen. Super delicious coffee and tea are included. The space ESAF 2025: see below. We are a hospitable house and like to have people around us. A living room with design classics and antiques is waiting to be conquered, as is the in-house garden. There you will find vegetables, salads and radishes in organic quality. We are enthusiastic mountaineers and will be happy to advise you on what to conquer where. Guest access In addition to the balcony, we have a large terrace with a grill area. A plantation provides shade. But there are also seats in the meadow, and even a stream ripples on our property. For romantic evenings, we also have a cozy dining room with an old oak table from the last century. During your stay When we are on site, we are available for anything spontaneous. Introductory climbing courses, to the mountains or to the swimming beach of Lake Walen, which is less than 10 minutes away by car. Marion has a practice for pain therapy according to Liebscher & Bracht and also offers massages. Guests benefit from a 25% discount! Other things to note New to ESAF 2025: For the Swiss Federal Wrestling Festival, we offer an extra-large room with high-quality, cozy inventory. A white chaise lounge by Flamant, side tables and plenty of space in 25 sqm with mountain views. Also included in the price is a "Schwinger" breakfast and a parking space. The bathroom is exclusively for you. Minimum stay for the ESAF is 3 nights.
