The Villa Mapelli Mozzi, a splendid noble residence set in the heart of the Brianza countryside, is less than an hour from Milan, and a short distance from Como and Lecco. The space The yellow painted 18th Century Villa, a traditional red 15th Century courtyard, a lush English Park surrounding the Villa, and a garden with swimming pool, constitute the complex. The origins of the Villa are those of an ancient monastery built in the 1400s which is believed to be standing on the rustic court itself. The passing of the following centuries resulted in substantial modifications to the structure of the building and, in 1927, the architect Alberico Barbiano di Belgiojoso completed the renovation with stylistic interventions that accentuate the late 18th Century aspects of the villa. The central part of the villa is accessed from the main courtyard, containing the main hallway which connects to the rooms facing the park. The upper floor consists of the same features as the lower floor: the beautiful gallery provides access to the bedrooms overlooking the park. The Villa has 15 bedrooms: 4 master bedrooms en suite, 3 triple rooms en suite, 7 double rooms and 1 single room and 11 bathrooms, and we can host up to 34 people. Numerous French doors, surrounded by classical decors, open on to the Park with its 18.000 sqm, with many century old trees in a traditional "English Garden". On the other side of the Park, the swimming pool is surrounded by green fields and fruit trees. On the Ground floor, covering 800 sqm, there are 5 reception rooms and 2 libraries opening on to the Park, furnished with valuable antique furniture that give this location a uniqueness for elegant events. These rooms can accommodate up to 200 people seated. The large kitchen for catering purposes opens onto the traditional courtyard. The Villa is full of period finishes, like the stucco decorated ceilings, the Venetian marble and ancient durmast oak floorings. The Villa is heated, in some rooms there are old fireplaces, which allows it to be used during the winter period. By way of the large stairwell, the First floor Gallery is approached, with bedrooms opening onto the Park: 4 huge and fantastic double rooms with en suite incredible large salle de bain, and other 8 beautiful bedroom with 4 bathroom. The Park with it's mature trees, the suggestive courtyards, the garden with swimmingpool and the Villa's beautiful rooms, offers a wide range of unique opportunities for the guests to create a range of different combinations to play with a lot of space and create unique moments of relax for the whole family. The Villa is suitable for guests coming from abroad for an unforgettable and exclusive holiday, hosting them in the beautiful and spacious rooms, offering home-cooked food, but refined and rich in local products, especially in the spring and summer seasons. Guest access Guests have access to the whole Villa - excluding the kitchen area - (ground, and first floor), the courtyards, the beautiful Park in front of the Villa and the other Park with the large Pool (15mx7m), soccer field in front of the Pool, volleyball and table tennis.
