La Maison Serein – house near Brocéliande Forest

Welcome to our quaint rural home in central Brittany. Sympathetically restored, our home offers a comfortable retreat amidst nature. Accommodation is all on one level, with a large kitchen/living area, 2 double bedrooms, one with a daybed to sleep an extra guest & a shower room (PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS!) The large garden encircled by mature trees, is ideal to play games, or just relax & listen to the birdsong. Scenic & peaceful, La Maison Serein is the perfect 'get away from it all' stay. The space Ideal for families, couples, walkers, cyclists & nature lovers, or anyone looking for somewhere to completely unwind. Guest access TV with French & British Freeview channels - DVD player (small selection of DVD's) - boardgames - books - washing machine - woodburning stove - *BBQ - *badminton - *ping pong table - *darts (*please ask if you want outside games left out for you. Garden furniture, BBQ will be stored away during the winter months). There is a small fishing lake on the road to the village, permits cost 2 euro per day from The Mairie. Other things to note *PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS!!! Beds will be made up for your arrival. There is no central heating, but there are basic heaters in both bedrooms & a woodburning stove in the main living area. It may be cold in the Autumn & Winter months, so please bring warm clothes. May be suitable for disabled guests. The accommodation is all ground floor, but there is a small step to enter the property & gravel/grass outside which may be difficult for wheelchair users. Please ask if you have any questions. £150 damage deposit required - this will be refunded after departure & once the house has been cleaned & checked.
