Stunning views and lots of space - spacious house and large grounds Private pool, sea view, WiFi The space Peace and tranquility, away from it all - but close to amenities and the beach Our house is situated in an authentical Spanish hamlet in the countryside in Benajarafe Alto. Yet it is only a 5 minute drive away from the beach, the shops and the restaurants in Benajarafe. The house offers fantastic views to the sea and the surrounding hills. Enjoy a swim in our pool with sea view. The house consists of the living room with dining area, the kitchen, two bedrooms with bathrooms (1 ensuite without a door to the bedroom) and an additional toilet. On our large property (2700 square metres) we have various sunny and shady seating areas. The house is facing south, you can enjoy the sun the whole day. We have a large garden with various fruit trees like mangos, lemons, avocados or figs which you are welcome to pick and eat. Our neighbour offers a wide range of organic vegetables that you can buy for a good price - he would even give you a tour if interested. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need - international TV, WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, towels and linen (one set per person per stay, changing them on request for a fee), some books and games. We also have a barbeque for our guests to use. If you are travelling with young children, we have some toys, a cot, a high chair and even a changing table. Animals are welcome, the property is completely fenced (must be mentioned before and there is an extra fee). Please note that this is not a luxury property and not everything is brand new. Please also note that during winter we are in the house ourselves with our dogs and cats - of course everything is thoroughly cleaned, but if someone is highly allergic, it might present a problem. ATTENTION, WINTER GUESTS: Be aware that in winter it can get chilly even in southern Spain. And there can be some rainy and uncomfortable days, too. Most houses in southern Spain, including ours, are not built for colder weather like you may be used to from your home country. There is no central heating in the house, the walls and windows do not isolate as well against cold as you are probably used to. No worries: We do have two mobile gas heaters to make the living room/ bedrooms nice and cosy, and we have small heaters for the bathrooms. We also have a fireplace in the living room which you can use (firewood must be bought). But it still won't be as cosy inside as you are used to from countries where houses have central heating. If you are lucky, you will have nice and sunny weather during your stay, just be aware that it can be different, too (luckily never for long). But we spend almost every there and are not feeezing :-) Guest access It is also possible to rent the lower part of the house too (3 additional bedrooms with a bathroom each) for up to 10 people - please have a look at our other listing. If one listing is booked, the other is automatically blocked - you will never have to share the house with other guests! Other things to note You will need a car or very good legs Shops and the beach are about 3kms away. Please note that a small part of the road is not sealed and there are some curves. So if you are an unconfident driver, this might not be the right place for you. You might hear some dogs barking at night or during the day or roosters in the morning as it is typical in the Spanish countryside. We don't have aircon in the rooms upstairs and Spain is hot in July and August, so please consider this when booking. In winter it can get chilly and will not be as cosy inside as in houses in Northern Europe.
