This Victorian farmhouse features many original features.The lovingly created interior features 3 bedrooms sleeping 6, a large kitchen with Rangemaster stove, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc.A large, light, airy conservatory/garden room leads from the kitchen (with access to lawned garden) provides dining and lounging space. There is a separate lounge with 50" smart TV and Amazon Echo (Alexa). The owners and their cats live nearby should you have queries etc. The space The sleeping arrangements cover many options being two doubles (one en suite) and a twin. There is also a family bathroom with bath and walk in shower. PLEASE NOTE: If two guests book, the price is based on the use of only the master bedroom and the adjoining family bathroom. If there is a need for a second bedroom please ask for a price, as the other bedrooms will not be accessible. Thank you. The bespoke kitchen with dual rural aspect features a large Rangemaster cooker, American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, together with the usual kitchen ancillaries and Portmeiron china. In the garden there is a large games room/art gallery, with vintage Riley snooker table. ​ Should you wish, you may eat al fresco on the large extending table out in the garden. Of a summer’s evening, is there anything better than having a meal with convivial company, watching the sun go down while enjoying good food and a glass or two. In the field that rolls gently away behind the properties, we have created a pond following the lie of the land to provide a natural environment for wildlife in a calming and wondrous setting. This pond has been stocked with carp, bream, and tench and over the last few years has matured into a natural haven for both fish and wildlife. Only our guests have the use of this pond to sit in the quiet serenity of the glorious Devon countryside. Wildlife that we have seen includes heron, Canada geese, deer, and innumerable birds.
