This detached, cosy “cottage” within a working farmyard location, is nestled in the South Downs National Park. It is the perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the countryside, as it is recognised for its outstanding natural beauty. We want you to feel at home, and have equipped the cottage accordingly. We are located a stone’s throw from Goodwood and Cowdray, and forty minutes from the coast. The area is renowned for its excellent public footpaths, cycle trails and pubs. The space There is a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a Neff oven and ceramic hob, a fridge, a washing machine and Nespresso coffee maker. The kitchen with bar seating overlooks a light and airy carpeted living space. There are two sofas, a television, a wood burning stove and French doors opening into a small private garden, featuring table and chairs. The cottage is centrally heated. The shower room comprises quality features, under floor heating, an electric shaving point and heated towel rail. The bedrooms have luxurious and comfortable beds with quality bed linen, and fluffy towels. All the rooms feature blackout curtains or blinds. As the cottage is situated within a working farmyard, it is regrettably, not suitable for children, infants or pets. Other things to note There is plenty of parking, but please approach very slowly as we have free-range animals. Please respect animals can be unpredictable! This is a remote property. Please check our location before booking! Depending upon your provider, there is generally no mobile phone signal at the cottage. However, devices can be connected to the WiFi. Please note that WiFi is occasionally intermittent! Previous guests have embraced this, as it conducive towards relaxation. Mobile signal, however, can be found just 3 minutes walk from the cottage. During the autumn and winter months we provide fire making materials so guests can use the log-burner, should they wish. Please be vigilant whilst it is alight, and keep the stove door closed. Additional fire making materials are available at a small extra charge. As the cottage is situated within a working farmyard, it is regrettably, not suitable for children, infants or pets.
