Cosy old cottage, close to Huntly train station
Description
A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. The bathroom is accessible via a stairways upstairs. We look forward to hosting you! The space You enter the house from the street. A stairway is leading you to the bathroom upstairs. This has a bathtub with a shower included. (Please note that the stairs are steep and painted. We’ve had an elderly guest who found this challenging. Please take extra care on the stairs so that you don’t slip and fall.) The living room downstairs is carpeted and has a log-burning stove which guests are free to use. The living room has a sofa bed and two chairs. The bedroom is located downstairs next to the living room. It has a window facing the garden. The bed can be arranged as two singles or a double - please let us know how you would like it. We can provide an extra mattress to put on the floor for a child. The kitchen is equipped for someone who likes cooking. The kitchen is functional but not glamorous. It has all you need, including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and a table that can seat up to 6 people. From the kitchen, you can enter the enclosed garden. Here you find a small table with two chairs on the lawn as well as a washing line that can be used. The garden is a shared space; that means neighbours might use it too. The house has gas-fired central heating. Short-term let licence AS 00382F (valid 12th January 2024 to 11th January 2027) Guest access You can access the whole house except for one room upstairs which I use as a service room.
