Description

Come and spend a night, a weekend or a week with family or friends, in this 18th century stone house that we have completely restored in the heart of a Jura valley. You can rest while enjoying the comfort or strolling through the orchard or by the river. And discover the natural and heritage riches of our beautiful Jura: trails, lakes and waterfalls, vineyards, historical sites, forests, villages... And even try an excursion to nearby Burgundy! The space Note: You are on a room listing. If you want to rent the entire vacation rental (2 bedrooms, 8 people) see the corresponding listing (Les Billardes... the vacation rental). Breakfast is not included (supplement of €5/pers/day). The "grand-duc" room consists of 2 spaces: - downstairs (25 m2), a 140 x 190 bed, a dresser, a wardrobe, bathroom (sink and comfortable shower with extra-flat 90 x 90 cm tray, heated towel rail) and separate toilet (suspended toilet) - upstairs (staircase a little steep), 2 beds 90 x 190, an armchair, and the old brick fireplace as a decoration (16 m2). Mattresses are new (October 2020). You have a TV and an internet connection via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable. The room overlooks the common kitchen/dining area, and has direct access through the balcony. It can be locked. You may share common areas with other guests (another 4-person room). The kitchen, organized around the large oak table, is well equipped* and opens onto a living room conducive to relaxation and reading the tourist documentation that we leave at your disposal. The wood ambiance reigns everywhere, with exposed beams, wainscoting and furniture. In the bedrooms, antique furniture that we enjoyed restoring. In the kitchen, modern and functional amenities, but with personalized and therefore unique facades. You have access to a laundry room specific to the cottage, with sink, washer and dryer. Outside, you can enjoy the courtyard and green spaces (garden, orchard). * kitchen equipment: - 5-burner stove (gas) with electric oven; range hood - dishwasher - large fridge/freezer - microwave - coffee maker - raclette and fondue set - full set of dishes - set of pots, pan, Dutch oven, pie dish... Guest access The house is located in the heart of our small village, in a quiet cul-de-sac. On site parking.
