The building is situated on the Via Emilia, one of the oldest Roman roads in Italy. Within walking distance you can find restaurants, pubs, shops, museums, the city theatre, the stunning city library which is housed in the 14th century San Francesco cloisters, the 16th century fortress, many impressive 18th century buildings and even the Enzo e Dino Ferrari racetrack, offering a full calendar of sporting events. Imola was first settled by the Romans as Forum Corneli more than 2000 years ago. This delightful, well-kept city has a wealth of history, traditions, cultural events, entertainment, nature, good food and sport for visitors to enjoy. If you look at Imola on the map you can see that it is in a perfect position, with wonderful medieval villages such as Dozza and Brisighella just a stone’s throw away. You can also get to Bologna in less than half an hour and the Adriatic coast, Ferrara and Ravenna in an hour. Even Venice and Florence are within easy reach for a day trip. ROOMS The spacious, well appointed apartment includes a twin room, with private bathroom, on the first floor. In addition there is a suite comprising a double room with en-suite bathroom and twin room on the second floor, where there is also a splendid balcony for guests to enjoy. The Giardino Segreto features several lounge areas where you can listen to music, watch television, read or simply relax. The fully equipped kitchen is available for guests’ use.
