Charming 17th century winemakers cottage right on the Loire Valley River . Perfect central location for a holiday to the region in the town of Amboise with fantastic views and privacy. Located walking distance from Amboise off of the Loire valley riverbank cycling path.Perfect for a family holiday or a couples getaway. The house also benefits from being completely traditional but with great appliances and every room has heat and air conditioning for comfort and a heated salt water pool The space The cottage has a lovely private garden with a beautiful view of the loire river. It has a great outdoor patio and front garden with terraces where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the day. NEW FOR 2019 WILL BE A SALT WATER HEATED OUTDOOR POOL WITH SUN TERRACE. The inside is very traditional , furnished with many local antiques. The kitchen is very well appointed, with modern appliances, microwave oven , convection top, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The living room is lovely with its wood fireplace and beamed ceilings. There is also a flat screen tv and stereo. The bedrooms all have new temperpedic mattresses, down comforters and new luxury linens. The house also has heat and A/C in every room . The Loire Valley bike path is at the bottom of the garden . [From here you can reach Chaumont and Chenonnceau as well as the other valley Chateaus.] We also have fast wifi , satelite and internet TV , A/C / heat in every room. There is parking for 2 cars in our private gated driveway. Guest access The house is perfect for 1or 2 adult couples, up to 5 adults, or a family with up to 2 kids age 5 and older. The price will adjust depending on how many guests are staying. All the bedrooms are on 2nd and 3rd floor up the stairs. The cottage may not be suitable for very young children and old and infirm guests as there are a stairs inside the house and steps on the outside. The house and grounds are for guests use. Parking is for two cars inside a private gated driveway. Other things to note Let the charm of the cottage and its ideal location sweep you away into a perfect holiday. Its lovely to have a great local wine and have dinner with friends outside on the patio or the rose-vine gazebo. We have a lovely , front and back garden and new for 2019 a heated salt water pool with sun terrace . Our house is also very private. Great local restaurants and a fantastic local farmers market is a mile away in Amboise by the riverside bike path or road.
