Peaceful Barn with Sea Views near Falmouth
Peaceful Barn with Sea Views near Falmouth
Description
Keynvor is a bright, airy barn conversion in a small farm complex which formerly belonged to the National Trust. The farmhouse dates from the 1650s and the barns from the 19th century. The garden affords fabulous ocean views, and is a sun trap when the weather co-operates. There is a gentle 10-15 minute walk through woodland to the nearest beach, which is on the South West Coast Path, and it is possible to walk to Falmouth or Helford Passage along the coast. The space Sympathetically renovated, we have equipped the barn with everything necessary to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including smart TV, WiFi, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and washing machine. The bathroom has a large shower, WC and sink unit. All linen and towels are provided. We are happy to allow well-behaved dogs, but we do charge a fee of £20; please be sure to add it to you booking. Please note this is self-catering accommodation. Our other property, a studio-style barn conversion, is nearby - listed on Airbnb as Bian Mor. Guest access The barn is self-contained; there is a garden shared with one other holiday barn. Picnic bench, outdoor table and chairs, and a parking space are all provided. Other things to note A car is useful to access the property, but not essential. There is a bus service from Falmouth, and the local village has most amenities. The National Trust also has a holiday property near the farmhouse, and the road between Falmouth and Mawnan Smith runs past the car parking area of the cottage; there is very little impact from these on Keynvor.
