The Casita is a charming guesthouse in a country setting. The guesthouse is in a private and peaceful opening, surrounded by trees and nature. Guests can relax on the front porch on a 7 ft swing, play cards or dominoes on an original Dixie Chicken table, watch a sunrise or sunset, listen to the rain or star gaze. Our automatic mosquito system creates an awesome outdoor retreat. We have a master suite, a loft with a double bed and a very comfortable fold out queen couch. The space The master suite has a large picture window and has a beautiful view of the moon through the trees. This suite has two closets and an amoire for plenty of storage. There is a comfortable queen bed under a ceiling fan and a beautiful antique stained glass behind the bed. The master suite has a fully stocked bathroom. The living area is surrounded by large windows with private views of nature. The couch folds out into a comfortable queen bed. There is also a loft available with a double bed. Between the recliner, soft sofa and antique ice-cream table, the living area is a very comfortable space with plenty of seating for enjoyment. The Casita has a fully stocked kitchen, full-sized refrigerator and a flat-screen t.v. with Dish (SEC network) and Starlling WiFi. Additionally, there is full-sized washer and dryer and a fully stocked second bathroom. Right outside is a large deck with Bistro lights or nightly star lights. Relax in Adirondack chairs around a fire-pit or dine at a 4' round table , nap in 2 soft hammocks or enjoy conversations on a teak bench and chairs. With an automatic mosquito system allowing for year-round enjoyment, there are plenty of spaces to enjoy great food, drink and company! Guest access The Casita has a private drive and parking. The property is located between Highway 60 and Villa Maria. This allows for easy access to the airport or campus, which are just a few minutes away. We are also close to Snook, which has a couple of fun restaurants and great weekend kolaches. Downtown Bryan is a great walking area for restaurants, shopping and antiquing and is easily accessible from Villa Maria. First Fridays, in downtown Bryan are always a great experience! Other things to note The meadow is a beautiful and perfect spot for horseshoes , bean bag toss or throwing a football. The stained glass garden on the hill is a special area for quiet reflection. With great grilling, food, drink ... there are plenty of choices for playing or relaxing, which adds up to special times and memories. A loop around the property and pond is 1/3 of a mile. This is a great way to get your steps in! We have a catch and release stocked pond, with a pier for catch and release fishing. The Casita has Starlink internet service, along with a smart tv for any work or streaming needs. Our 5 minute proximity to campus makes attendance to Kyle Field, Reed Arena and Blue Bell Park!
