Situated between the Glencoe hills and Loch Leven, Yatter Whaup House, is a stunning self contained property offering two beautiful double bedrooms and a twin bedded room each with ensuite shower and/or bath. There is a dramatic upstairs sitting room with panoramic views of the hills and Loch and a bright modern kitchen dining room with additional lounge area. The whole house offers spectacular views of our amazing surroundings. Walking, wildlife and water; just add yourselves! You’ll love it! The space You might be surprised to learn that Yatter Whaup House is a new property! Built to the highest standards by its owners, Christina and David in 2012 and previously run as a Bed and Breakfast, it has all modern facilities including underfloor heated stone floors, double glazing and really efficient insulation. Inside, it is built with traditional methods using real oak beams, doors and woodwork and feels both warm and welcoming.... The kitchen area is modern and well equipped. There is a washing machine/drier and a dishwasher. There is ample comfortable seating in the kitchen dining area, so whoever is cooking need not be alone! Our rooms are tastefully furnished with everything one would need and guests will be surprised by some of the quirky artefacts and original art work. In addition to the underfloor heating, the kitchen/dining room has a wood burning stove and the upstairs sitting room has an open fire. The views from just about every window are just wonderful! Outside there is a lawned front garden which is fully enclosed and pet proof - there is a picnic bench also…. We hope that you will be both surprised and delighted by our home!...... Guest access Guests enter the garden from the pavement/cycle track, and then into the house by the solid oak double front door - built to withstand Viking marauders, should they ever decide to return for a rematch! Parking is outside the property on our dedicated slip road. It is quiet , safe and uncrowded. The cycle track is part of the huge West Coast route - Google for more details. Other things to note We do not consider that Yatterwhaup House is suitable for children under six. We do, however, welcome well behaved dogs! We have recently been upgraded to Full Fibre Internet to the property at 500mbps - we hope this will reassure those who require high speed business use whilst staying with us….
