It’s very well stocked with quality kitchen pans (please take care of them), lots of kitchen accessories, juicer, nice mixing bowls, waffle maker, coffee grinder, maker, milk froster, toaster, small raclette set, lots of spices, etc (though no microwave). It feels spacious and the rooms re bright with high ceilings and brand new (as of summer 2024) hardwood floors, and a color laser printer/scanner/copier. No street noise and a large garden with BBQ for everyone to use and pears in late summer. New kitchen & bath, quality appliances, granite counter-tops, new King size bed in master and a new super comfortable “purple brand” mattress brought from the US as well as a foldable pull-out bed. Beautiful living room with a huge solid wood table for work or formal dinners and modern furniture. The best is probably it’s location, balcony and the large garden. There is a large shared laundry room downstairs. Full apartment We won't be there to socialize with you but are available by phone or facetime when needed. The neighborhood is excellently located for a tranquil vacation or work-stay with convenient access to the city and beautiful, picturesque surroundings. There is a garden in front for anyone to use. In the back, there is a lake where you can BBQ, hang out or hike, feed ducks, see swans, a playground for the little ones and the famous museum Klee Zentrum is reachable by bus or by foot. In the winter, if it's cold enough, people have ice skated on the lake. In the fall, the trees create a colorful show of nature. by tram: 7 minutes to Zytglogge/city center. By foot: step out and walk to nearby playground, daycare, lake Eglisee (1'), Bakery (2'), Coop shopping center 7' , Klee Museum 10', Bärengraben 15'. The most fun is to rent an bike or ebike for a month. I can help you with that. There is also a kids bike available for you to use. Bikes can be brought in the entryway or kept outside (ask me where). Street parking is available for free short term (blue zone) or longer if you obtain a day parking pass. These parking passes are purchasable from us or the police station. If you need a garage, that’s currently possible, ask me. we are only accepting long term rentals (one month and longer). We use Mînut, an Airbnb recommended security alarm and noise sensor to provide a safe and private rental experience for both guests and for our neighbors.
