Free WiFi. A 10 minute slow walk to Tiwi beach and the famous Africa rock pool (accessible at low tide). En-suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, open plan dining and sitting, cool and breezy. The space Our cottage has two en-suite bedrooms, open plan lounge and dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has a thatched Swahili style roof to keep you cool with open window spaces and shutter doors. Relax by the pool in the tranquillity or enjoy a pleasant stroll down to Tiwi beach. Have a BBQ in our BBQ area and swim in the illuminated pool under the stars. Tiwi, is on the South coast of Kenya which has a tropical climate. Because of this we do have dudu’s - more commonly known as insects! Tiny ones and bigger ones! There are some that crawl and some that fly and they may visit you in the cottage at times. We have a beautiful garden that we hope is as eco friendly as possible and along with it comes the mini wildlife that we all love. Bushbabies (Galago's), maybe a monkey or two, reed frogs and beautiful coloured dragonflies. We hope you enjoy seeing the wonderful aspects of nature that only tropical Kenya can offer. Other things to note Cottages are self catered, we can arrange your first nights shop for you (at a small fee and will provide receipt) Or you stop at one of the larger supermarket chains located on the way. The cottage comes with a basic cook/cleaner who is there for you 8 hours per day. If you keep our staff over the 8 hours we ask you to pay them for the extra hours. We also ask you to pay for a motorcycle taxi for our staff if you keep them after dark.
