Our sunny family home is set in a safe, quiet neighborhood, with safe, offstreet parking for two small to medium sized cars. Enjoy open-plan living that flows to the sparkling pool, a covered lapa with barbecue and pizza oven, and plenty of space to relax. Kids will love the toys, games, and garden swing, while parents can unwind on the daybed under the big yellowwood tree. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and lots of welcoming energy, it’s the perfect spot for a fun, relaxing family getaway. The space This beautiful home is spacious, sunny, and filled with natural light. It has a warm, welcoming energy that makes it a truly happy space. The lounge and living area open onto the pool, while at the back of the house, the kitchen leads out to a separate garden. Here you’ll find a vegetable patch, a lemon tree, and a tranquil nook with a daybed and rope swing beneath a large yellowwood tree—an ideal spot to unwind with a good book, watch the birds and squirrels, or let the kids play safely nearby. Please note that the property is subdivided, and the converted studio/garage is not part of the guest area, as it is used for group art classes three times a week. Your privacy will not be disturbed, as students access the studio through a separate driveway and a fenced-off side entrance, completely separate from the main house and entertainment areas. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool and barbecue area which is completely separate and private from the cottage. The tenant in the cottage will not have access to the pool area during your stay. The cottage is attached to the house but the entrance is in the next street as it's a corner house. The art studio is fenced off and set off to the one side of the subdivided property which does not interfere with your private space at all. My students do not have access to any area of the property other than the separate studio which does not form part of the airb&b space at all. PLEASE NOTE: NO PETS ARE ALLOWED on the property. Other things to note The house is warm, welcoming, and very comfortable with 2 stylish bathrooms. The first has a spacious oval bath with overhead shower, while the second offers a large walk-in shower, double vanity, bidet, and toilet. There are 2 bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and the other, a smaller room with a double bed. All beds are dressed in quality percale cotton linen, with both bath and swimming towels provided. A sleeper couch in the living room can accommodate one extra guest. The dining table seats 6 but extends to 8, perfect for family meals beside the open-plan kitchen, while a separate TV lounge offers a 55-inch screen with Netflix and limited DStv. PLEASE NOTE: South Africa does occasionally experience load shedding (planned power cuts). To keep you comfortable, the house has backup fibre internet, a gas stove, portable lights with phone chargers, solar-powered outdoor lights, and ceiling lights in most rooms that remain on during outages. The gate and alarm system also run on backup power. While we do our best to reduce inconvenience, we cannot be held responsible for power or water outages. PLEASE NOTE: Pets are not permitted. No parties, large gatherings, or loud noise after 10pm. We ask that you respect our home, take care of amenities, and use water and electricity responsibly, as these are precious resources in our country.
