The Lama Grangette

Do you prefer the company of llamas and wild animals in the wild to that of crowds? 400 meters from any paved road, away from prying eyes, noise, pollution, this comfortable grangette is nestled in our 7 hectares of meadows, woods and scrubland, away from prying eyes, noise, pollution... In the surrounding area: wild rivers, medieval villages, hiking trails, Pont d'Arc, Chauvet Cave... The space Upstairs (16 m², single storey, via the upper path): kitchen & sleeping area; sink supplied with spring water (we also provide you with a supply of guaranteed drinking water bottles). Lighting and 12 Volt socket (no 220V). On the ground floor (15 m², single storey, via the lower path): dry toilets + space to store your personal belongings (mountain bike, horse, donkey, etc.). Outdoor lounge, barbecue and solar shower. At your disposal, in free access, in a room adjoining our home (at the start of the track): fridge/freezer, self-service washing machine, 220V electrical outlets, coolers. Plus, for occasional use: toilet, bathroom, WIFI, board or outdoor games (petanque, mölkky, Frisbee...), bicycles on request. Guest access Private parking + 400 meters of track, to be covered on foot or by mountain bike. 4x4 shuttle for transporting heavy or bulky items. Guides and maps of the many hiking trails – in the immediate vicinity, our town has marked 280 km of trails! Nearby: multiple and varied outdoor activities – fishing rivers, swimming, hiking of all levels, mountain biking, climbing sites, paragliding, many tourist and heritage sites to visit. We will offer you fruits and vegetables from our garden and, depending on the season, free harvest: cherries, strawberries, raspberries, plums, figs, apples, blackberries, hazelnuts, grapes, chestnuts, mushrooms... Other things to note 140 x 190 cm double bed; we will ask you to come with your own bed and bath linens. You have everything you need on site to be self-catering: pillows, duvet & blankets, dishes, lighting, auxiliary heating, cooler and ice cubes... Domestic animals (llamas) and wild animals (badgers, wild boars, genets, weasels...) occasionally frequent the surroundings of La Grangette. They are calm and peaceful, as long as you don't disturb them! We will ask you to leave the premises as clean and tidy as you found them - we will take care of the laundry and the "big cleaning" after your departure.
