A wonderful opportunity to stay in this cosy, secluded cabin situated in the famous Cuckmere Valley & South Downs National Park. The cabin is set within a beautiful landscaped garden, in the quaint village of Litlington. A 2 minute walk to the Long Man Brewery and Plough & Harrow pub. A 20 minute walk across the valley takes you to Alfriston and Rathfinny Vineyard. Litlington is 3 miles from Cuckmere Haven, from here the footpath can be continued along the Seven Sisters cliffs to Beachy Head. The space The self-contained wooden cabin is clean, comfortable and has all bnb amenities including heating, ensuite bathroom and kitchen/seating area. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, induction hob (but no oven). There is a wardrobe and coat hangers, iron/ ironing board, fan and hairdryer. The cabin has a main double bed for 2 people. It also has a sofa bed – upon an additional fee this sofa bed can sleep 1 extra adult or 2 small children. Sofa bed measures 106cm (W) x 179cm (L). Please note it is a slightly bumpy drive-way and not suitable for low wheel-base/high performance sports cars. We provide the cabin with tea bags (English breakfast & herbal teas) coffee (instant & cafetière), sugar and UHT milk sachets. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are all provided. Our established garden contains a diverse range of interesting wildlife – from trees, flowers, vegetables and herb plants, as well as a dovecote and resident butterflies. Walking around this peaceful and quiet garden you cannot help feel instantly relaxed and tranquil. There are different pathways and pockets of the garden to explore, plus places to sit around the garden to nature watch. The clear and starry night sky can be truly incredible too! We have private guest seating just outside the front of the cabin, with a view of the White Horse on High n Over hill. As well as further seating scattered around the rest of the garden. Guests can wake up to the sound of bird song whilst sat outside in the morning. The garden is shared with the house and so you may, from time to time, see us pottering around, however please do wonder freely! Guest access Cabin (guest accommodation), garden, driveway and pathways Other things to note Our driveway is fairly bumpy. It is not suitable for low wheel based performance sports cars. If you have a phobia of spiders this is not the place for you! Whilst the space is cleaned & dusted between every visitor, we are inevitably a cabin in a garden in the countryside, and spiders will find a way in from time to time! Please don’t kill them, they’re harmless.
