Description
Renovated in 2017, the cottage is in my garden. It has a pleasant bright living/lounging area with two couches, a toilet/shower room, well equipped kitchen, and a loft bedroom. Car parking is outside the door. There's lots to do locally, with beaches nearby, and a short walk will bring you to the heart of this colourful village, with lively pubs, good restaurants, Irish music. Kinvara is an ideal base to explore The Burren. The space I live next door in the main house, and I'm usually at hand should you need anything. Guest access You have complete use of the cottage, and parking is right outside the door. The garden is in view, but is not accessible to guests. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: 1. There is a service station next door. They have fresh croissants in the morning, and a hot food counter all day! We supply complimentary breakfast cereals, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, washing up liquid, handsoap, toilet paper. There is a filtered water tap for drinking water, we encourage people to reduce plastic by not buying bottled water. 2. There is central heating, which is included in the price. There is also a wood burning stove, and the fuel is provided. 3. In the winter months, places to eat out in the village are limited, specially after dark. 4. The loft bedroom has restricted headroom, so tall people may need to stoop! 5. There's no washing machine, but the filling station right next door has washers and dryers for public use, available 24 hours. 6. The cottage is situated in my garden, and it is largely peaceful and quiet. But, the property is on the outskirts of the village, not in a remote part of the countryside, so there will be the noises of village life from time to time. 7. On occasion, there are insects in the cottage, despite my best efforts to clean it thoroughly between every stay. So, if you have a fear of spiders, this may not be the place for you! 8. I'm sorry pets are not allowed. 9. The village currently does not have a taxi service, and calling in taxis from the nearest village/town is really expensive. I’m sorry but my own car insurance doesn’t cover me to carry passengers for reward.
