Family vacation in the mountains

Cozy 3 1/2 apartment in the attic on the Axalp (1,500 meters above sea level) for rent. Accessible only by car! The apartment has 2 bedrooms, (a 3rd bedroom is closed and can't be booked), large kitchen-living room with Swedish stove and a spacious, cozy sitting area with TV. In the bathroom, there is a shower, shower toilet, sink and a small washing machine. Furthermore, 2 large balconies with morning and evening sun are available to our guests. The space The large kitchen is equipped with everything you need for daily use (incl. fondue caquelon and raclette pot). In addition, a Delizio coffee machine (capsules from Migros, please bring your own) can be used. Kitchen and bath towels are available in sufficient quantity (also replacement) and do not have to be brought along. Salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar are available for use. Various games and Legos for children may also be used. Zewi blanket for 90 cm bed available as well as 2 Trip Trap high chairs. Guest access The apartment is located in a building complex. The parking space can be reached via the garage door (access directly from Axalpstrasse). Our parking lot is on the first floor after the entrance to the parking lot on the left, No. 6, written with Wyler. In front of the parking garage, there is a key safe also marked Wyler. The code will be provided upon confirmation. Thus, access is possible independently at any time. Directly in front of our apartment there are still 4 visitor parking spaces that can be used practically for loading and unloading. Other things to note There are no shops on the Axalp! You must therefore bring all food with you. In Brienz, 20 km away, you will find all the important shops such as Migros, Coop, Chäsfritz, Bäckerei Steininger, Post and Bank. We highly recommend the Bergbeizli Hilten and the Axalpstübli. Halfway to the Axalp, you will find the Bramisegg restaurant, with excellent local cuisine. In Brienz, we especially recommend the Steinbock Restaurant and Strandbad Restaurant with a breathtaking view. In summer, the Axalp offers countless excursion opportunities such as various hikes around Axalp and Hinterburgseeli. NEW from summer 2024 is also the Axalp-Windegg chairlift in operation as well as the Spycher-Beizli. Further in the immediate vicinity are the following excursion options such as the Brienz Rothorn Railway, Ballenberg Open Air Museum, boat trips on Lake Brienz, Giessbach Falls, Aare Gorge in Meiringen, Gelmer Railway or Muggestutz children's hike on the Hasliberg and the Jungfrau region.
