Description
Le Romarin Calestienne is a spacious, recently refurbished townhouse, centrally located in the Ardennes village of Bure/Tellin. With its spacious living room (70m2), 6 bedrooms, large low terrace and separate sun terrace with extra garden, it is the ideal space for family reunions or stay with friends. Perfect hiking and biking routes that start at the house: to the north you go into the fields and meadows, and along the south side you climb to the forests of the Ardennes. The space Le Romarin is an authentic and charming 1870s townhouse in a quiet village center, cozily renovated with respect for the past. A sporadic spider web is part of the interior. During WWII, the house was a hub in the municipality, and the owner filmed the ins and outs of the small community. This material was later used by the RTBf to make a social documentary entitled: "Bure, un village pendant la guerre". The film lasts 40 minutes and can be viewed on site on DVD. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, the garden and the two terraces with BBQ. The attic is not accessible. Other things to note Pets are not allowed. Bed linen is not provided, but is available in each room for a fee of €10 per bed and/or bedroom. We then count on your honesty to leave the appropriate money. All other items (see list of Amenities) such as towels, shampoo, hair dryer, iron, tea towels, spices, oil, etc. are also available free of charge.
