Modern stone house with stunning sea view

The property with its unique view of the Ionian Sea consists of two stone houses and is nestled in the hills of the wildly beautiful landscape of the Corfiot west coast, about 3 km outside the traditional village of Giannades. The two houses, one of which is available to guests, are separated by an inner courtyard reserved for guests. The access to the house is not paved for the last 1.4 kilometers. The space On the first floor of the house is a large lounge, a dining table, as well as a small, well-equipped kitchen with a large fridge and dishwasher. In the rear area is a bedroom with a double bed (width 150 cm) and a small bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. The upper floor is designed in the form of a gallery overlooking the sea. It consists of a spacious bedroom with a double bed (width 180 cm), as well as a bathroom with a double sink, shower and toilet. The harmonious fusion of modern architecture and traditional materials gives the guest a feeling of tranquility and security. Oversized windows reveal the vastness of the sea and give the interiors a special kind of living experience. In addition, the house has a covered pergola with a cozy lounge overlooking the pool, the wild rugged coast and the green hills. The two neighboring houses are almost hidden by high reeds. When designing the outdoor area, we placed particular emphasis on versatile use. A spacious terrace invites you to sunbathe and linger, and olive trees offer quiet and shady places to read and daydream. The courtyard with its fireplace is protected from the wind in the back by a wall with an antique, Indian wooden door. Under the pergola, which was attached to the side of the house, it is pleasantly shady even in the middle of summer. Directly adjacent to the terrace, an elongated pool invites you to swim and cool off. An overflow eliminates the boundary between the pool and the sea, creating a horizon in different shades of blue. The pool is 13.5 m long and 2.5 m wide and is easy for parents to oversee thanks to its central location. For barbecue lovers there is an open fireplace in the courtyard, as well as a gas BBQ (plancha) We are happy to help guests with any questions and problems, but are discreet and respect their privacy. Guest access The courtyard with the large dining table is exclusively available to guests. The pool is not used by us in the presence of the guests. Guests have 24-hour access to the pool. Other things to note There are cats on the premises that we feed. Most are neutered/sterilized and all are healthy and friendly, some very shy.
