The villa's restaurant organizes international breakfasts and Tuscan dinners by reservation The space The agriturismo is located in Volterra in a characteristic and typical Tuscan villa from the 1800s that has been completely restored, leaving the old structure unchanged, such as the terracotta floors and ceilings with wooden beams. Villa Montaperti, which today houses magnificent rooms, was born as a country residence of the noble Leonori family. Its origins are evidenced by a small mausoleum in the charming little church of the 1700s, still consecrated and adjacent to the villa. The agriturismo is located on a small hill from where you can admire the unique and evocative view of the Tuscan countryside with the bell towers and towers of Volterra on the horizon, while comfortably relaxing on the sunbeds at the edge of the large swimming pool (14 x 7 meters open from May 1 to October 15). In front of the villa you will find at your complete disposal, the gravel terrace, the large garden-olive grove and the gazebo where you can sit and enjoy the splendid view while tasting a good wine or savoring the products of Tuscan cuisine. Quiet and original location in an ancient and very small country village, in the center of a farm with wine, olive oil and jam production. Villa Montaperti is the ideal strategic place to visit the most evocative places in Tuscany, including San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, Florence and the coast, which are easily accessible by car. A mile and a half away there is a riding school and a golf course nearby.
