Tigh Dubh

Tigh Dubh is a renovated Black House on a croft, we are close to The Edinbane Inn, 8 miles from Dunvegan, 13 from Portree and an hour from the Skye bridge. The space The cottage is a converted traditional Blackhouse that originally housed animals. The ground floor contains an open plan living area, a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, a sleeping platform is tucked in the eaves. Heating is from a night storage heater and potbellied stove. There is a sea loch at the bottom of the croft. The cottage is cosy, safe and peaceful. It is a place to relax after a day on the hills or exploring Skye, the thick walls and crackling fire in the potbellied stove provide a haven to recharge your batteries in a busy world. Pets are welcome, Maximum 2 dogs per cottage, Dogs must be inoculated, No fighting breeds. There is a 40 pounds fee.
