Captain`s Cottage, right in front of Aegean Sea

Our comfortable fishing house is right on the rocks, in front of the blue sea. We refurbished and dye vintage furniture by our hands and harts, keeping the specificity of the place. All 4 bedrooms have direct views of the sea. Our guests can enjoy breakfast on the terrace looking to a small wild island. Just a few steps from the house is a small beach, protected by rocks, ideal for swimming and relaxing. When the sun starts to set, you can rest and watch the fishermen boats passing in front . The space After passing through a pine forest, you'll see CHILI, a small village in a valley, with many cranes on the cliffs near the sea. Here fishermen from Kymi keep their boats, with which they go fishing, especially for calamari . As you get closer to the sea you feel the taste of salt, you hear the waves hitting the rocks, you see the boats on the deep blue of the sea, and the breeze tames even the hottest sun. Sometimes late in the night, under an unbelievable starry sky, you can walk down to the small port where you can buy fresh fish and squid , direct from the fishermen. On the ground floor is a complete, but small, kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a washing machine and a double bedroom with double French windows opening to the terrace. The next double bedroom have separate access from the same terrace, with WC and bathtub. The upper floor have entrance from the outside. There is a living area with a breakfast kitchenette, fridge, a table and a sofa bed. From this space you have access to a complete bathroom with shower and two bedrooms, both with one double, one single beds and direct view of the sea. All the beds have comfortable, new mattresses and 100% cotton linen. The house have a modern air converter system. Outside you can use a wood BBQ, sunbeds, table and chairs, all that you need to enjoy the beautiful sea. The picturesque town of Kymi it is just 3 km. on the hill. There, in the main square, you`ll find a real Greek atmosphere with cafes under the trees around the church, with local markets, really tasteful kebab, or traditional tavernas. Other 15 minutes by car you`ll discover the Port of Kymi, well known for fish restaurants and bars, very full of live ,especially at night. From this Port you can go for a day trip to Skyros, or you can rent a boat to discover wild beaches hidden among the rocks . At the northern end of the port is Soutsini beach with sand and clear waters among white stones smoothed by the sea. There are many unspoiled beaches to explore. If you like to hike, you will find trails on the mountain above. The atmosphere is bright and peaceful, you must come and feel it ! Guest access From the Athens International Airport you can easily reach Captain`s Cottage, Chili , driving just 2hr and 40 minutes, guided by google maps. You will pass the bridge in Chalcis and you`ll get to Evia without any ferry. If you enjoy to explore wild, unspoiled, natural beaches we recommend to rent any 4X4 car ( Suzuki, Duster, whatever...) because on the island are some off road beach access.
