Charm between art and nature

Charm between art and nature is found in Arcumeggia, a 15th-century village rich in art and culture surrounded by the greenery of the Varese Prealps, a stone's throw from Lake Maggiore and Switzerland. It is suitable for couples, families and/or groups of friends. It boasts a large garden and is equipped with every amenity. In autumn, the wood-burning fireplaces and the stove come on. The village is 15km from Varese and 40km from Lugano. Malpensa Airport is only 45km away. Kick back and relax in thiscalm, stylish space. The space My house is on two levels with terracotta and parquet floors. The furniture is antique in a rustic setting. The objects in the house belonged to my family and reflect the taste for beauty even in simplicity. The master bedroom is located on the upper floor, which is accessed via an internal staircase and is also equipped with a pouf bed suitable for children. There is a full bathroom plus a small half bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including a dishwasher. The large dining room has a table suitable for 8 people and a beautiful fireplace. The living room has two sofas, two armchairs, a pouf bed, and a fireplace. The desk/work area is still in the living room but at a lower level. One of the sofas becomes a bed for one or two people (bed size 120 x 190 cm). The dining room is not the only area to eat, especially in summer because the garden has a beautiful pergola with a large marble table where you can spend beautiful evenings and have super relaxing breakfasts. Keep in mind that the house on two levels is full of stairs and that it is absolutely not suitable for people with mobility problems also because to get there you have to walk for about 200 meters on cobbled roads that cannot be used by cars. Guest access The entire house, garden, and laundry room in the basement. Other things to note There are NO shops of any kind in the village of Arcumeggia I am available to cook for you , directly at home, typical Italian dishes, fresh pasta and stuffed pasta, polenta and various meats (local game) all just agreeing with me in person in advance during your stay. Those who want can arrange a class with me to learn how to make fresh pasta and stuffed pasta, with Arcumeggia eggs and organic flour. In the village there is a bar/restaurant "La Locanda del Pittore", a kiosk bar "kactus" and a Home Restaurant for tourists "Da Martina". Also in the Home restaurant you can find some very necessary items so you don't have to go downstairs in case you forget something. Also during your stay you can buy, depending on availability, vegetables and fruits from the garden and fresh eggs, all produced on the spot by the educational farm "Terra Enantata". After booking you can visit it and see the raptors , who are the most important guests of the farm, along with low court animals.
