Cosy, traditional, self-catering Irish cottage nestled away in the scenic West of Ireland.County Mayo is definitely one of thee most scenic areas in Ireland.We boast lovely coastline , access to Wild Atlantic Way, Beaches in abundance and fabulous Mountains.This cottage has been refurbished to a high standard while maintaining its original charm. It is situated between Castlebar town and the beautiful historic village of Turlough, either location is approximately 3/4minutes drive from Cottage. The space This charming 2 bedroom cottage is the ideal getaway location for anyone looking to explore the idyllic Irish countryside. Beech Cottage offers a calm and quiet space while being just a short drive to the bustling town of Castlebar. Situated on a farm, which is fenced around cottage, quiet neighbourhood, just a short drive from great bars, restaurants & shops. Excellent 4 g coverage which allows guests to hotspot from their phones for pleasure or work. 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds Bed linen and duvets and towels supplied. BATHROOM SMALL, but adequate for four guests, electric shower. Oil central heating. Stove in pictures is not in use, decorative only. Kitchen including microwave,coffee machine,cooker, fridge. Private car parking - car is essential in this area. Safe garden for children to play with some toys. Travel cot and high chair available . No Pets No WiFi No smoking No parties. Teas, coffee etc. Continental breakfast items to start your visit. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire home as well as a private entrance and secure parking.We welcome guests early if that suits travel . CAR IS REQUIRED. Other things to note The cottage is surrounded by scenic fields which are home to a number of cattle. This area is off limits to guests.Although feel free to wander around yard and garden to see cattle if they are close to cottage.They do enjoy the attention ! Although we do not live beside the cottage John will sometimes be at the farm so you may see his jeep over at the farm gates .Other than that area is very quiet.Also please note the playground featured in the images is located on the grounds of the National Museum of Country Life which is a 4/5 minute drive from the cottage,in the village of Turlough.
