Description
Thatcher's Cottage is nestled at the heart of Dorset's most beautiful village, Milton Abbas. Enjoy a luxurious stay in a stylish modern extension of the grade two listed property, which opens onto a secluded gravel patio. You are a few minutes walk away from a wonderful local gastro pub, farm shop, tea rooms and the historic Milton Abbey, and just 25 minutes drive to the Jurassic Coast. If you keep your eyes peeled, you may see deer in the hill side garden, which backs onto woodland. The space You're going to have a lovely time :) The bedroom is spacious, with a high vaulted ceiling and French windows which let in lots of light. The outside area includes a secluded peaceful space to sit and relax, with the option to use a barbecue. The luxurious bathroom is tastefully decorated, features a large shower, spacious slipper bath and a heated towel rail. Enjoy tea and coffee in your room, and store your own items in the mini-fridge. We offer a selection of cereal to help you start your day. Please note the bedroom and bathroom are on their own floor, have their own access, their own landing and their own doors. They are exclusively for your use. However, they are joined internally to the main house via a staircase to the landing. We have put up a curtain at the top of the landing above the stairs for some extra privacy. The bedroom and bathroom are therefor not an annexe, as some reviews from our guests may lead you to believe. Guest access You can get access via the staircase up the side of the property. You will enter through some french doors, where you can use the bedroom, bathroom and gravel patio pictured.
