Casa Jean - Wooden house with sea view

Our wooden house, completed in the summer of 2013, is located away from the tourist strongholds in the sunniest spot of Madeira, in Ponta Do Sol. Surrounded by banana fields, you can enjoy the fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean. The space Our vacation home "Jean" offers you a cozy bedroom with a 1.40 m wide bed, a bathroom with a wellness shower and a living/dining room with an open kitchen on 45 square meters. On the 12 square meter covered terrace you can enjoy your breakfast with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Sun loungers are available for sun lovers and you can try the Madeiran specialty “Espetada” (beef skewer) on the grill. Our vacation home is intended for 2 people, but the living room couch can be converted into a bed, so that up to 4 people can be accommodated on request. Our kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven and all necessary cooking utensils, but without a dishwasher. In the small annex there is a washing machine, a clothes rack and an ironing board with iron. If you want a cozy TV evening, you can choose between all the usual programs. The TV also has a built-in DVD player and USB port. Free Internet access is available. A bus stop is located just a few meters from the vacation home. However, since the buses do not run very frequently and also take a very long time for short distances, it is better to have a rental car. Guest access The accommodation is a detached vacation home with a private entrance. The parking space is located directly below the house. Other things to note As of October 1, 2024, a tourist tax will be levied on Madeira. The tourist tax is €2 per person per night, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. The amount collected will be used for the development and maintenance of tourist infrastructure, environmental protection and the promotion of cultural activities.
