Quiet rural barn between Taunton & Glastonbury

DETACHED BARN CONVERSION WITH SPECTACULAR COUNTRYSIDE VIEWS. Situated in a beautiful part of Somerset this delightful 400 year old barn sits in front of the owner's home at the end of a long driveway where a warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured. A fantastic quiet retreat, with far reaching views within an easy drive to the nearby county town of Taunton. The space The accommodation comprises of TWO bedrooms: 1 large double and 1 twin, both having exposed beams and country views. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Separate downstairs WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with TV/DVD and cd player/radio. Kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment and small breakfast bar with stools. Dining area has french doors that open up onto a large patio with lawn area in front. Utility: with washing machine and boiler. Outside: open-plan lawn and gravel areas. Amenities: ample parking. We accept bookings for a minimum of 7 nights. Our change-over day is Saturday. The cottage has an Iron/Ironing board, Vacuum cleaner and clothes airer. Guest access Within an easy drive to the nearby county town of Taunton. There are beaches at Weston-Super-Mare, Burnham and Brean on the north coast and Lyme Regis, Charmouth and West Bay on the south coast, great beaches for fossil hunting.There are many National Trust properties and RSPB reserves in the area. Other attractions include Longleat, The Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Motor Museum and Cheddar Gorge, to name a few. The cities of Wells and Bath and the towns of Glastonbury and Street all provide interesting days out, with the Blackdown Hills, Quantock Hills and Exmoor providing opportunities to view wildlife and enjoy beautiful scenery. Other things to note We also provide - Tea towels, washing up cloth and sponge. Kitchen roll and a couple of toilet rolls. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Bed linen and personal towels are provided. Free wireless internet. We operate a no smoking policy within the property. It is permitted outside on the patio.
