Heron Lodge-river, rambling and relaxing
Description
Heron Lodge is situated within 120 beautifully landscaped acres of Glan Gwna Holiday Park, Caeathro, Caernarfon. There are 3 good sized bedrooms, a well fitted kitchen and lounge, plus bathroom. The wooden lodge itself is set towards the rear of the quiet park and has a decked area that overlooks a quiet cul de sac. The lodge has the benefit of gas central heating whilst most of the other facilities are electric, and it’s easy to top up the meter during your stay. As seen in Parc Glan Gwill! The space Heron Lodge has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, another with two single beds and a third with bunk beds. There is a well fitted kitchen, with a breakfast bar which seats 3 or 4 guests. The coffee table can be used for eating at too. We have a travel cot and high chair for babies, but you will need your own bedding. The electricity is on a meter and guests are expected to abide by a fair usage scheme. This will involve checking the amount on the meter when you arrive and top it up as needed. Please ensure you leave some credit on the meter for the next guests. If you use the last emergency credit you must top it up please. We have free Wifi in the chalet which you are able to log in to but it can be affected by weather conditions and the mountains, so you are better to download or stream before arrival. Glan Gwna offer free wifi across the Holiday Park, but downloading or streaming are not available. Within Glan Gwna Holiday Park, as well as the woodland, stream and river, there is an outdoor heated pool, children’s play area, bar, restaurant (with a takeaway option), small shop, coarse fishing lake (rod licence and daily permits needed), and a laundrette with coin operated washers and dryers. Some facilities including the pool are only available between the May half term and the first week in September - contact us for more details. Ideally situated on the Welsh coast, you will be able to access a range of outdoor pursuits, visit local towns, villages, beaches, historic sites including castles, and family attractions. It is good to have realistic expectations as this is not a luxurious holiday let and we are not a holiday business. This is our much-loved, comfortable second home, which we are happy to share with others and this is reflected in the relatively low nightly fee. Guest access You will have full, sole access to Heron Lodge but other facilities on the park are shared with other owners and guests. Other things to note The electricity is on a meter and guests are expected to abide by a fair usage scheme. This will involve checking the amount on the meter when you arrive and topping it up as needed. Please ensure you leave some credit on the meter for the next guests. If you use the last emergency credit you must top it up please. We have free Wifi in the cottage which you are able to log in to but it can be affected by weather conditions and the mountains, so you are better to download or stream before arrival. We also have Kingfisher Cottage for holiday rentals, and this can be booked along with Heron Lodge for larger families subject to availability.
