Ground floor cottage located in a quiet small street on the edge of the forest, 3 km from SAVERNE with all shops, 35 km from STRASBOURG and 86 km from COLMAR. You will love our place because of its quiet, view, countryside, forest, comfort and amenities. My place is good for couples, solo travelers and families (with kids). Owners live (2 adults) on the 1st floor. The village of Haegen is located at the foot of the Château du Haut-Barr, known as the Eye of Alsace. The space 100 m2 ground floor apartment in detached house, classified 3 stars GITES DE FRANCE, separate entrance, breathtaking view of the Strasbourg plain, magnificent sunrises to discover. Forest entrance side 2 steps away for mountain biking, hiking and enjoying all that nature offers us in all seasons. Linens are available except towels for the outdoors and the pool. Non-smoking accommodation but ashtray available for die-hard smokers who can smoke outside of course. We have been renting for many years and have a loyal clientele who have become friends over time. Guest access The entire 100 m2 property as well as the outdoor terrace, equipped for sunny days, and the garden are available to guests. Enclosed garden where dogs can roam freely. Heated above-ground pool. Other things to note The village is below a forest path on which is located the Château du Haut-Barr and its restaurant with the ruins of the Grand- and Petit Geroldseck.
