Beautiful Cornish Country Cottage

Our beautiful mid-terraced miners cottage dates back to the 1800's. The cottage & its enclosed walled garden is nestled on the South facing slopes of the Bissoe Valley with beautiful, tranquil unspoilt panoramic countryside views. The cottage is a 5 min walk to the Bissoe Trail and is perfectly located to access both the North and South coast beaches. The minute you walk through the door you will feel at peace in your cosy surrounds and able to switch off, relax and unwind. The space The cottage is one of 5, mid terraced in a beautiful rural setting with stunning valley views from the bedroom window. The master bedroom has a super comfy king sized bed. The bedroom has beautiful wide original wooden floorboards, apparently all from the same tree. The cottage has its original open beams downstairs which adds lots of character. The kitchen with its beautiful cornish slate flagstone tiles and a feature stone wall is the perfect spot to have breakfast round the farm style kitchen table in the mornings. The kitchen leads out into the enclosed south facing walled garden with patio area, lawn and flower beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with new oven, hob, sink, fridge freezer and the new washing machine is in the utility room (we havent done this room up yet) We have a good sized family bathroom with roll top bath and a enclosed waterfall shower. One cosy reception room/lounge with open fire place. A hallway and a porch for shoes and coats. I also have a seperate treatment studio where I can provide treatments at a additional cost during your stay. Please ask for info at time of booking and I'd be happy to send you a link to a treatment list. There is a picnic table and unbrella to enjoy your lunch in the afternoon or evening bbq and firepit to take in the night sky and listen for the owls. Our neighbours are all very friendly and we all respect each others privacy. The garden is established with plants and trees. We've done everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and we have no doubt that you will love the cottage and its surroundings. Its a magical spot thats far enough away from the crowds, but close enough to the best beaches, and all the fabulous things to do and see while you are visiting Cornwall. Guest access You will need to park in front of the garage, steps to front door are to the left of garage, outside the cottage. A hop, skip and a jump away is the Bissoe Bike Chain where you can hire bikes and explore the track into Devoran or down to Portreath on the North Coast. We are truly blessed to be so close to some of the best beaches like Chapel Porth, Porthtowan, St Agnes, Holywell, Polyjoke, Crantock, the National Trust Gardens, quaint villages and towns offering a host of activities from Loe Beach watersports centre and boat hire which is a 10min drive away, to the Falmouth maritime museum. Cusgarne Organic farm shop is a 2 min drive away and supplies a large variety of meat and vegetables as does the local spar shop and butchers which is a 5 min drive away. Fabulous bistro style places to eat out are The Porthminster cafe in St Ives, Rick Stein's in St Merryn, Padstow and Falmouth, The Cove in Meanporth.
