A spacious cottage in stunning Dunning

Rose Cottage is full of character. It lies within our Stable Courtyard, but is entirely separate from our own house. It has its own entrance and garden. Located on a quiet private road within Duncrub Farm Estate, it is peaceful and less than a mile’s walk from Dunning. Lovely for a romantic break for a couple but equally perfect to share with another family or for a couple with children. Only 3 miles from the A9 and within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Dundee and Perth. The space Rose Cottage has a lovely welcoming feel. There are 2 bedrooms that are bright and spacious. The largest of the 2 has an extra King size bed, and the other a double bed. There is an additional single bed on the upstairs landing for an adult or an extra child. The bathroom has a classic free-standing bath as well as a shower and a full-length mirror. It is bright with beautiful paintings by a well-known Ugandan artist. Downstairs there’s a large, south-facing open plan Kitchen/Dining/Sitting room with a high ceiling and tall windows and a door that opens onto the garden. The wood burning stove makes the room very cosy and we provide you with plenty of wood and kindling. There is also an electric heater. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for family meals and includes a Bosch Cooker with 2 ovens, dish washer, fridge freezer, microwave, magi-mix, nutri bullet and cafetiere. The dining room table can seat up to 6. There is a flat screen HD TV with all TV channels and Netflix. For rainy days we have a good selection of board games and a beautiful card table with original poker pieces. Off the entrance hall, is a second loo, a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board and lots of space for muddy boots!
