Our self-contained apartment oozes contemporary country charm with all the comforts of home. Settle back on the Adirondack chairs on the rear porch and watch the rainbow lorikeets feed in the dogwood tree shading the private courtyard. Snuggle up for a cosy night in watching the latest movies on Netflix or wander just minutes into town to enjoy the many outstanding cafes, restaurants and shops Berry has to offer. The space Relax in the comfort of the air conditioned bedroom with a blackout blind and shutters for long sleep-ins. The super comfortable queen bed is fitted with high thread count linen and feather pillows. Fluffy bathrobes and hot water bottles have you covered for chilly nights. Travelling with little ones? We can provide a porta-cot and high chair too. The heated bathroom is adjacent to the kitchenette located in a gauze-way area leading out to the back porch (a gauze-way means it opens to the outside veranda via a gauze door only - always lots of fresh country air in the kitchenette!). Please note that the bathroom is accessed via the breezeway kitchenette. As mentioned, the kitchenette door is gauze so it can be fresh in there during the cooler months. All other rooms have solid lockable doors and heating. The compact kitchenette comes complete with microwave, compact bar fridge, kettle, toaster and sandwich press as well as a Weber Q gas BBQ just outside on the rear verandah. The kitchenette is fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils for preparing light meals. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are provided along with a small bottle of milk. You are most welcome to wander out into our extensive garden set on half an acre to meet our hens at the bottom of the garden. You may also meet our cavoodle, Charlie Mae, running around the backyard - no doubt she will be desperate to meet you! Children (and grown-ups) are welcome to play on the tree swings. Guest access The apartment is under the same roof as our family home but has a separate entry and your own private living space and courtyard. The sitting room shares a common wall with our home. Please be aware that there will be some daily family activity noise audible when using this space. If we're home, you will be greeted upon arrival and then left to your own privacy. The Rosebud key can be found in a lockbox near the apartment's front door with the access code provided the day prior to arrival. Of course should you require our assistance or advice at any time during your stay we are here to help. Other things to note Berry is a picturesque, historic village just two hours drive south of Sydney. Nestled under the mountain escarpment and just 8 km from 7 Mile Beach, it's the perfect escape from city living. Located on one of Berry's favourite, quiet streets, Rosebud is just a short walk to the main street filled with cafes, restaurants, and shops. It's only one block from the village pool, weekly farmer's market in addition to a monthly craft and produce market, and also close to the train station. We have grown up in Berry so we have extensive knowledge of the village, surrounds and its people. From where to hike, ride, paddle or swim to the best eats in town, we've got it covered.
