Tui Glen is situated in a picturesque and peaceful spot in the heart of Endeavour Inlet in the Marlborough Sounds. This classic kiwi bach is a perfect spot for a traditional kiwi holiday of swimming, fishing, bush walks or simply just relaxing. It's a 15 minute walk to Furneaux Lodge via the Queen Charlotte walking track which runs past the front of the property. The property is nestled in it own small glen which allows you to sit out on the deck overlooking the bay. The space Tui Glen is a typical humble kiwiana bach with 1 main bedroom that sleeps up to 3, a rear room with a bunk bed for 2 and some other services (see photo), a combined main living room / kitchen and also a combined laundry / bathroom. The bach is an ideal family batch suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 3 children. NOTE the top bunk bed is suitable for children only. The bach is suitable for a maximum of up to 4 adults however check out the photos to ensure that the sleeping arrangements will be suitable. The bach is a clean and tidy classic bach with older style furniture. Again please make sure you check out the photos to ensure the bach suits your needs. There is a mooring available. Wifi is available nearby. Minimum stay Easter 18th April -April 21st Note: The fireplace is not in use and electric portable heaters are used for heating. Guest access You will be renting the entire bach. Access to Tui Glen is by water taxi which delivers passengers 4 times a day to the Inlet or you can bring your own boat as a mooring is available. Other things to note The property is located on the waterfront and is approximately 50 metres from the jetty. It is approximately a 4 hour walk to Ships Cove or in the other direction 3 hours to Punga Cove. Enjoy a 15 minute walk through native bush to Furneuax Lodge which has a bar and restaurant or you can simply visit for a coffee or drink sitting on the verandah overlooking the bay. A walk along the same track at night and you will see glow worms not often seen in many parts of New Zealand.
