This spacious, historic property sleeps up to nine people and offers stunning views of the Tramuntana Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The beauty and tranquility of the home provide an idyllic haven, perfectly balanced by its central location in the lively village with its cafes, restaurants, bakery, and shops. The beach at Port de Soller and the bustling market town of Soller are just a 10-minute drive away. Set over four floors, the house features five bedrooms (two double, two double/twin, one single) and five bathrooms (two en-suite). The living spaces include a spacious, well-equipped kitchen (complete with filtered tap water), two living rooms, a dining room, an office, an imposing entrance hall, and a reading room with spectacular views. Outside, you will find three large, sunny terraces on different levels, all offering comfortable seating and wonderful panoramas. The lower terrace boasts a private swimming pool and a shaded outdoor dining area just off the kitchen. The property is surrounded by a pretty garden filled with lemon, orange, almond, and olive trees. Please note: The kitchen, swimming pool, and lower terrace have all been recently beautifully renovated. The property features air conditioning in the kitchen and the reading room, as well as central heating throughout and two wood-burning stoves. Because we have maintained the home's historic windows, portable AC units cannot be installed in the bedrooms (with the exception of the first-floor twin room). To ensure your comfort and keep you cool, all bedrooms are fitted with high-quality, silent ceiling fans. Like many properties in the historic village of Fornalutx, the house is not directly accessible by car. Free parking is available in a new village car park, which allows guests to drive part-way before walking the remaining five minutes up a series of steps to the house. Fornalutx is built on terraced levels with wide cobbled streets; please be aware that the stepped access to the property makes it unsuitable for guests with significant mobility issues. Guest access Our guests have the entire property for themselves. Other things to note We will provide a starter kit to help you get settled for the first couple of days, but as this is a self-catering property, guests are kindly asked to pick up any additional items they might need for the remainder of their stay.
