Facing historic outhouses and set within a more open and spacious yard than many in Whitby, it offers a rare combination of light, tranquillity and central location, just 2 minutes’ walk from the harbour and close to everything Whitby has to offer. The cottage sleeps up to six guests. The main bedroom features a very large and exceptionally comfortable queen-size bed with a high-quality mattress and topper, while the second bedroom has twin beds. Additional sleeping is available in the lounge with a double sofa bed. This is a traditional period property, not a modern new-build, and is best suited to guests who appreciate character and atmosphere rather than hotel-style accommodation. The cottage is on one level with just a single step at the entrance. A free parking permit is provided for West Cliff car park, a short walk away. Guests may stop on Flowergate for up to one hour (with a parking disc) to unload on arrival. We kindly ask that the parking permit is returned to the cottage on departure. Bed linen is provided; please bring your own towels. The property is pet-friendly. Despite its peaceful setting, everything Whitby has to offer is just outside the entrance to the yard. Fast wireless broadband is available, along with TVs in the lounge and bedrooms. Guest access Key Safe outside Other things to note You can gain access to the cottage after 2PM on the day of arriving and could you could vacate the premises by 10 AM on the day of departure. If you arrive earlier by all means it will be fine to leave your bags in the cottage. You can collect get your keys from the safe next to the cottage front door. When you leave just pop the keys back in the safe outside and spin the numbers to a random selection. Please bring your own towels. If you have your dog could you please make sure it is not allowed upstairs on the beds and does not damage the couches? If you are taking a dog, could you please make sure that the yard is kept clean for the neighbors throughout your stay?
