Description
One of currently 4 ensuite guest rooms (the homestay is expanding) set with restored furniture and beautiful Kutchi fabrics. An original bedroom with twin beds that can be joined to make a comfortable double, and space for an extra bed if required. The ensuite bathroom includes a separate area for luggage and clothes storage. The room opens on to the inner leafy courtyard. The space A 130+ year old traditional Parsi 'courtyard' home in the heart of Bhuj, run by the Bhujwala family. There are currently four guest rooms (with more rooms being added), set around the inner courtyard— a peaceful retreat from the town's bustling environment. Breakfast (and dinner on request) is served in an open-sided pantry located in the middle of the leafy courtyard. The house is located close to the Bhujia Fort, and is well located for exploring textile and craft villages, wildlife areas, historical sites and the vast salt pans of Kutch. Guest access Our guests have their own entrance to the house via the hitchka or swing room which is a great place to relax with the newspaper! There's a common lounge where books and local info are kept, and access to a computer and wifi. During your stay Family members stay at the house regularly and the house is fully staffed to cater to your needs. Other things to note We can help organise your local excursions around Bhuj, the surrounding craft and textile villages, wildlife areas and historic sites of Kutch.
