Kina Retreat - Luxury Nelson Getaway

Kina Retreat is a spectacular villa situated atop the beautiful Kina Peninsula cliffs, just 35min from Nelson. Experience the amazing architecture & spectacular views that sweep across Tasman bay - from the Abel Tasman to the West to Nelson & the Marlborough Sounds to the East... Sensational by day & magical by night. The space Main house: Floor to ceiling glass doors encase the spacious living, dining & kitchen hub, showcasing the expansive lawns on three sides & breathtaking scenery: unimpeded sea & mountain views, & the swimming pool & landscaping of the property. The Main house offers 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 with the following bedrooms: 1 (Master): King Bed, 2) Queen Bed, 3) Queen Bed and the following bathrooms: 1 (Master ensuite): Shower, Separate Bath and Toilet 2) Shower & Toilet, 3) Shower, Toilet. All three bedrooms enjoy sea views. The Pool house: The Pool house is a day area adjacent the swimming pool and offers a bathroom and changing space with Shower, Vanity & Toilet. The Treehouse *: The Treehouse offers 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, sleeping 10. The bedrooms offer Super-King Bed, King Bed, King bed, and Single bunks x 4. Bathrooms offer Shower, Toilet & vanity & Shower over bath, Toilet & vanity. * Please note that The Treehouse will only be made available when the home is booked for 7 or more guests or with the addition of a special tariff. Guest access One of our friendly team will welcome you to the property and provide an orientation before leaving you to enjoy your stay. Our team will then be on call should you need any assistance from us during your time at Kina Retreat. Prior to your arrival we'll email arrival instructions and coordinate to meet with you at the property upon your arrival. Please note that one of our team will be travelling from Nelson to meet with you so it will be necessary to agree and keep to a meeting time. Other things to note * Private holiday home - This home is a personal holiday home. The home is extremely well equipped & presented as photographed, however, some of the owner's personal belongings will remain at the home in wardrobes, pantries etc. While very little is sacrificed in terms of the 'guest experience', this aspect has been factored into pricing, providing you with incredible value relative to similar properties around the country. * Swimming pool - This pool is solar heated. Solar heating is generally effective in Nelson-Tasman between December & April, when the weather is warmer and the days are longer. Water temperature will of course be subject to actual weather conditions. Outside of the 'swimming months', the solar system is ineffective and will not be operated. Cold water swimming will of course be possible - please let us know if you intend to swim during this time and we'll have the pool serviced prior to your arrival. * Rural area - Kina Retreat is located in a rural area with mains power, tank water & rural broadband internet. 99% of the time these services will run perfectly, but the rural nature of the property can occasionally mean that some patience & understanding is necessary. *Check-in available between 3pm and 7pm (or earlier by agreement). - One of our team will travel from Nelson (approx. 60min travel time) to provide access and a brief orientation for you. - Late arrivals after 7pm do not allow check ins to be completed within our standard operating hours and may not be possible. Where we are able to agree to check in after 7pm an additional service charge of NZD 250+GST will apply. Check-out should be completed by 10am. - Late departure is not generally available here due to the servicing timeframes of such a large property. - You may consider booking an additional night if a late departure is desired. *Professional housekeeping & Linen Laundering > At Holiday Nelson we take a thorough approach toward cleanliness and hygiene practices for your and our families peace of mind... because nothing less will do. > All high contact, food preparation and hard wet surfaces are hygienically cleaned and sanitised and our linens are professionally laundered at 80ºC, with bed linens further ironed at 120ºC by one of New Zealand's leading laundry experts, leaving them crisp, clean & superbly comfortable!
