"Lake End" Retreat

Stay in a unique dwelling like an underground Hobbit Hole. Privately located overlooking a lake, native bush and pasture. Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and relax on a deck surrounded by landscaped garden and bird song (over 35 different species of bird may be viewed). At night time you could have a visit from a Morepork (Native owl). The space We have been as ECO friendly as possible using re cycled building materials. There is a Swedish composting toilet in a separate room adjoining the Barrel Building. We have a natural queen size futon bed and 'Greenbridge designed'grey water disposal system in the bathroom. Assistance available to deliver luggage to site. Guest access Wi Fi available closer to our home. Cell phone connection on lawn in front of accommodation. From the accommodation have access to a landscaped garden. August to December enjoy spring and early summer blooming. Take a walk around the lake, to view natural wetland scenery. As with all bush areas, the tracks can become slippery in the wet. Branches can fall from trees in windy conditions. Please do not access the bush. Other things to note We have 1 small dog who is friendly. He is locked up when we are not at home. The site is not suitable for children or pets. There is no facility available for their accommodation. There is a dedicated guest car park available.
